Introduction

NRK Electrochem offers a wide selection of mixed metal oxide, MMO, electro-catalytic coatings for the full spectrum of electrochemical processes.

The world of electrochemistry is changing fast, with a new generation of developing technologies helping to improve the quality of our lives. The rapid development of new technologies is matched by the increasing performance demands of existing processes.

NRK Electrochem's customers currently operate our coatings in a range of applications, those that are established (chlor-alkali, electroplating, alkaline water electrolysis, electrochlorination, molten salt electrochemistry) and those that are at the cutting edge of electrochemical technology (PEM water electrolysers, fuel cells, photoelectrocatalytic disinfection)

NRK Electrochem is capable of applying coatings to substrates used as electrodes, bipolar plates, gas diffusion layers and many other electrochemical and electrical components.

 

Coating options to suit your requirements, include:

  • Single and Mixed Metal Oxide (MMO) catalyst coatings, surface treatment and surface modification for metal substrates.
     
  • Customer specified Mixed Metal Oxide (MMO) coating to your Anodes and Cathodes.
     
  • Recoating of existing electrodes.
